AI connectors for Claude and ChatGPT
Add MCAnalytics to Claude or ChatGPT and ask about your network in plain words. Read only, one network at a time, and you can take it back whenever you like.
#What you get
An AI connector reads the same numbers your dashboard shows. You ask a question in plain words and it calls the tool that answers it, so you do not have to know which board the answer lives on.
It is read only. The connector can read the networks you pick and nothing else, and it can change, delete and send nothing at all.
- How many players came back this week
- Why joins dropped on Tuesday
- Which server lags most
- Revenue this month against last month
#Add it in Claude
Search the connector directory in Claude for MCAnalytics and press Connect, or add it by address if you would rather not wait for the directory.
- Open Settings, then Connectors, in Claude.
- Press Add custom connector and paste https://mcanalytics.org/mcp
- Press Connect. Claude opens mcanalytics.org and you sign in there.
- Pick the networks the connector may read and press Approve.
#Add it in ChatGPT
ChatGPT calls the same endpoint. Find MCAnalytics in the directory, or add it yourself as a connector in developer mode.
- Open Settings, then Apps and connectors, in ChatGPT.
- Press Add, then paste https://mcanalytics.org/mcp
- Sign in on mcanalytics.org and approve the networks.
- Ask your question in a new chat and pick MCAnalytics when it offers.
#What it reads
Eleven tools, all of them read only. Each one answers for one network and one range.
| Tool | What it answers |
|---|---|
| list_networks | The networks this connector may read |
| network_overview | Online now, the peak, unique players, sessions, playtime, return rate and revenue |
| player_activity_timeseries | New and returning players per hour or per day |
| retention | Return after Day 1, Day 7 and Day 30, by cohort |
| server_health | Tick rate, memory, uptime, last heartbeat and connector version per server |
| top_players | Playtime, longest session or days active |
| join_sources | Which addresses brought players, and the funnel |
| revenue_summary | Store revenue, refunds and paying players |
| geography | Players and sessions by country |
| compare_ranges | Two ranges side by side |
| recent_alerts | Servers worth a look, and outage windows |
#Ranges and plans
A tool takes today, 24h, 7d, 30d, 90d, 1 year or all time, or a pair of dates. A pair of dates is answered over the shortest dashboard range that covers it, and the answer says which one it used.
The plan rules are the dashboard's own. The 1 year and all time ranges come with Unlimited, and churn risk scoring comes with Network and up. Ask for one you are not on and the answer says so instead of making a number up.
#Take it back
Settings, then Integrations, lists every AI app you approved under Connected AI apps, with the networks each one reads and when it last read them. Press Revoke and it stops on its next call.
Leaving a network has the same effect on its own: the connector drops it the moment your membership is gone, even though the approval is untouched.
