Subdomains and creator campaigns

Growth

Give each creator, sponsor, or server list its own address, then compare what each one actually brought you.

The clip shows, in order:

  1. Each creator or partner gets an address.
  2. One row per source, same numbers.
  3. New players, 7-day return, revenue.
  4. CAC and ROAS stay Not tracked, n/a.
  5. Fair Play: bans by source.

#Setting up an address

Give each creator or partner their own subdomain and ask them to put it in the video description or on stream. Add the DNS record, an A or a CNAME, and nothing else has to change. If you use SRV records, read the SRV section of Hostname attribution first, because each source then needs a target of its own.

The address is the campaign. There is no tracking link, no cookie, and no pixel anywhere in this.

#Reading the result

Open Growth. The Sources table has one row per source, and each row carries the same numbers, so two creators are comparable even when one sent ten times the traffic. Top sources on Overview shows the first three columns for your busiest sources, and a row there opens that source on Growth.

  • New players: players whose very first session came through this address in the range.
  • 7-day return: the share of them who came back inside 7 days, counted over windows that have closed.
  • Revenue: Tebex purchases by players from this source.
  • CAC and ROAS: these need ad spend, which is not tracked yet, so they read Not tracked and n/a.
Bans by source
Fair Play has a Bans by source card: for the range and servers you picked, each address with a confirmed cheat ban, the banned players behind those bans, the new players the address brought in the same range, and bans per 100 of those new players. Under 20 new players the rate reads Not enough players, because one ban would swing it. A row opens that address on Growth.
