Roles
The owner of a Minecraft network decides to connect it and is the data controller for player data from that network. MCAnalytics processes that data on the owner's behalf as the processor. We do not sell data and we do not combine player data across networks.
Data from a connected network
The connector plugin on your Velocity proxy and Paper backends sends MCAnalytics the following for each player session:
- The player username and, for premium accounts, the UUID.
- The hostname the player used to connect, which becomes their acquisition source.
- Join time, leave time, and the backend server name.
- Confirmed cheat bans reported by GrimAC or Polar through the Paper connector.
- Server heartbeats: online player counts, TPS, and memory use.
When a session includes the player IP address, MCAnalytics replaces it with a keyed hash before anything is stored. The key belongs only to your network, the raw address is discarded, and the hash is used to spot duplicate sessions and abuse inside your network. It is never treated as a player identity and never shared between networks.
Store purchases
If you connect a Tebex store, Tebex sends us the transaction id, the amount, the currency, the package names, and the premium UUID of the buyer. We use the UUID only to match the purchase to a player already on your network. Usernames are never used to match a purchase.
Dashboard accounts
Signing in uses an email magic link. We store your email address, the network memberships tied to it, and for each active sign-in session the IP address and browser user agent, so you can recognize your own sessions. Magic link emails are delivered by Resend.
Billing
Paid plans are handled by Stripe. Card details go to Stripe directly and never reach MCAnalytics. We keep the Stripe customer and subscription ids needed to show your plan.
Invitation requests
When you request an invitation we store the email address or Discord handle you give us, your network name, the player scale you pick, and any notes. Requests are rate limited by connection and the address used for that limit is not stored.
Hosting and third parties
MCAnalytics runs on servers we operate, behind Cloudflare. The services that see data are Cloudflare (traffic), Resend (sign-in emails), Stripe (billing), and Tebex (store purchases you choose to connect). There is no advertising or tracking script on the site or in the dashboard.
Retention, export, and deletion
Player sessions stay as long as your network is connected, so return rates and revenue history keep working. A network owner can disconnect a store or revoke a connector at any time from Settings. If you want an export of your network data or full deletion of a network, ask from the owner account and we do it by hand.
Questions
Use the feedback form in the dashboard, or reply to any invitation email you received from us. Product questions are answered on the FAQ.
