Terms of Service

Last updated: October 19, 2026

These terms cover your use of MCAnalytics: the connector plugins for Velocity and Paper, the ingest API, and the dashboard. They apply from the moment you sign in or connect a server.

Minecraft disclaimer: MCAnalytics is an independent tool for Minecraft server owners. It is not an official Minecraft product and it is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.

1. The service

MCAnalytics records which hostname a player first joined a network through, whether they came back, what they did, and what they spent, and reports it by acquisition source. It is a connector plugin you install on your own servers plus a hosted dashboard we run.

You need to be 18 or the age of majority where you live to buy a plan or to accept these terms for a network.

2. Your account and your network

You sign in with Google, with Discord, or with an email magic link. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for who you invite into your network.

Only an owner or an admin of a network can generate a pairing code or buy a plan. A pairing code expires ten minutes after you generate it, and a network holds at most one live code at a time. The connector token a paired server receives is a write credential for your network: keep it out of shared backups and out of version control. Pair again to rotate it.

3. Plans and prices

Community access is free and is granted by us on request, not by a checkout. Paid plans are self-serve. Every price below is in US dollars and excludes any tax that applies where you are.

PlanMonthlyLifetimePlayer limit
CommunityFree, by requestNot soldUp to 50 players online at once
Starter$4.99 per month$49 once, 25 seatsUp to 100 players online at once
Network$9.99 per month$99 once, 25 seatsUp to 250 players online at once
Unlimited$24.99 per month$249 once, 10 seatsNo player cap

A network without a live plan and without Community access keeps its Billing, Account, and Settings pages and loses the rest of the dashboard until a plan is live.

4. First month offer

The first month of any monthly plan costs $1, once per person. The offer has no closing date. If we ever end it, a checkout you have already completed is not affected. There is no separate free trial.

5. Payment, renewal, and cancellation

Checkout, card management, and cancellation run through Stripe Checkout and the Stripe customer portal. We never see or store your card details. Monthly plans renew every month until you cancel them in the portal, and a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

We do not run automatic refunds. If something went wrong, write to us and we will sort it out.

6. Lifetime seats

Each paid plan also sells a limited number of lifetime seats, paid once and never renewing. A seat is counted from paid records, so a full refund returns the seat to the pool. Buying a lifetime seat while a monthly plan is running cancels that subscription.

Seats are checked at checkout time. A checkout you abandon after the check does not hold a seat, so a burst of buyers can take a plan one or two seats past its number. We would rather that than hold seats for people who never pay. If it happens we honour the purchases.

Lifetime means the lifetime of the service. It is not a promise that the service runs forever.

7. Your responsibilities

  • You decide to connect your network, so you are the controller of the player data it sends. Tell your players what you collect, in your own privacy notice.
  • Install the connector on servers you control, and point it at the public MCAnalytics hostname.
  • Do not send us data we did not ask for, and do not use MCAnalytics to build a ban evasion or device fingerprinting product.
  • Do not attempt to reach another network data, to break rate limits, or to overload the ingest API.

8. Availability

MCAnalytics runs on a single server we operate. We do not offer an uptime guarantee, a service credit, or a support response time, and we will not pretend otherwise while that is the setup.

The connector is built so our downtime is not your downtime: it queues events to a local spool file on your machine and drains them when we are reachable again. The spool has a size limit you can configure, and the oldest events are dropped when it is full. An unpaired or unreachable connector collects and sends nothing, and warns in your console.

9. Data

What we process and how long we keep it is in the Privacy Policy. The processor terms for your player data are in the Data Processing Addendum, which forms part of these terms. Ask us and we export or delete your network data.

Product usage and anonymous totals

The dashboard records which of its pages and features you use, so we can see what to improve, only while Share how I use the dashboard is on for your account. Accepting these terms turns nothing on: it stays as your account set it, off unless you switched it on. You can change it at any time on the Account page, and turning it off deletes what it recorded. A browser that sends Global Privacy Control is never recorded.

You also agree that we may count and publish combined, anonymous totals across all networks, such as how many networks and players MCAnalytics manages. A total never names a network, a hostname, or a player. What each part holds is in the Privacy Policy.

Anonymous case studies

Sharing a case study is opt in. It is off for every network until its owner turns on Share an anonymous case study in Settings, and only the owner can turn it on or off. While it is on, you let us build one study from that network's numbers and publish it at /case-studies, free of charge, for as long as sharing stays on.

A study is anonymized. It shows growth and revenue as indexes, Day 7 return, week numbers, a size band, and events from a short fixed list. It never shows the network name or slug, a hostname, a player, or an exact amount. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what it holds. Someone who knows your network well may still recognise the shape of its curves.

An operator reviews every study before it is public, and may decline or hide one. The owner can withdraw at any time by turning the setting off: the study is deleted at once and leaves the site. We log each change, who made it, and the Terms version then current.

10. Ownership

We keep the rights to MCAnalytics, its connectors, and the site. You keep the rights to your network data. Using MCAnalytics gives you a licence to use it while your plan is live, and nothing more.

11. Liability

MCAnalytics is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost players, lost revenue, or indirect loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop at any time by cancelling in the Stripe portal and revoking your connectors. We can suspend or close a network that abuses the service, that does not pay, or that breaks these terms. We will tell you why.

13. Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top changes with them, and a change that reduces what you get takes effect at your next renewal, not in the middle of a period you already paid for.

14. Contact

Write to [email protected].
