Alternative
McStats alternative for Minecraft servers
McStats is a hosted analytics service for Paper and Folia servers, with a Velocity build for networks. As of September 2026 it is free on one server with 14 days of history, Pro is $6.99 for up to 3 servers and 90 days, and Network is $13.99 for up to 6 servers and 180 days. The limits are servers and days of history. MCAnalytics counts peak concurrent players instead: free up to 50, Starter $4.99 up to 100, Network $9.99 up to 250, and any number of backend servers on every plan. History is kept for as long as the network stays connected, and revenue by join address is on the free plan. If you outgrew one server or 14 days, or you run BungeeCord or Spigot servers, it may fit better. McStats goes deeper on performance and gameplay data.
Side by side
| Topic | MCAnalytics | McStats |
|---|---|---|
| Server software | Velocity, BungeeCord and Waterfall proxies, and Paper, Purpur, Folia and Spigot servers. | Paper or Folia 1.21.11 or newer and Paper forks, plus a Velocity build. Spigot is not supported, BungeeCord is planned. |
| What the plan limits | By peak concurrent players: under 50 free, 100 on Starter, 250 on Network, no cap on Unlimited. | Servers: each backend with the plugin uses a slot, 1, 3 or 6 by plan. The proxy does not use one. |
| History kept | Kept for as long as the network stays connected. No plan trims it. | 14 days on Free, 90 days on Pro, 180 days on Network, per the pricing table. |
| Revenue by join address | On every plan, the free Community plan included, next to first joins and 7-day returns. | On Pro and Network, as a revenue by ad slot table. |
| Stores | Tebex, CraftingStore, your own PayPal and your own Stripe, and more than one store at once. Money from elsewhere can still be typed in by hand. | Tebex and PayNow. |
| Refunds and chargebacks | Both taken off the credited revenue. | Refunds netted out. Disputes and chargebacks are not ingested. |
| Server performance | TPS, MSPT, memory and online count for every server, on every plan. | TPS, MSPT percentiles, garbage collection, lag spikes and per-world load, on Pro and Network. |
| Custom events and heatmaps | Both, on Network and up: custom events from a Java call or HTTP, and a chunk heatmap with session paths. | Both, on Pro and Network. |
Moving from McStats
- Connect the proxy, or your Paper server if you have no proxy, from the setup guide. Any number of backends is fine.
- Point your Tebex store at MCAnalytics from the Tebex setup page, so purchases are matched on the buyer's premium UUID.
- Expect to start from today. MCAnalytics has no importer for McStats data, so your charts begin with the first join after you connect.

Where McStats is the better pick
- You want a free plan without asking anyone. McStats is free on one server with 14 days of history; the MCAnalytics free plan covers up to 50 players, with no card and no request.
- You want deep performance data: MSPT percentiles, garbage collection pauses, lag spikes and per-world load, down to five-second chart intervals on paid plans.
- You want gameplay data beyond heatmaps and custom events: Vault economy balances, combat and commands.
- You run Folia. McStats documents how each of its metrics reads on Folia regions.
- You sell through PayNow as well as Tebex.
- You want to try it on one server for free. McStats is free on one server with 14 days of history; MCAnalytics has a live demo on sample data and a $1 first month instead.
Where MCAnalytics is the better pick
- Your network runs behind Velocity or BungeeCord and you want the proxy to be the one record of join addresses and sessions.
- You sell through CraftingStore, your own PayPal or Stripe, or more than one store. MCAnalytics takes those next to Tebex.
- You have cracked Java players or run nLogin. Identity types stay apart, and only a confirmed login counts as a return.
- You want revenue by join address from the start, on the free Community plan too, not only on paid plans.
- You want history that no plan trims. MCAnalytics keeps sessions, sources and purchases for as long as the network is connected.
- Chargebacks matter to your numbers. MCAnalytics takes them off the credited revenue along with refunds.
- You want confirmed GrimAC and Polar bans by source, to see which campaigns bring cheaters.

Questions
How do the limits differ?
McStats counts servers and days of history: 1 server and 14 days on Free, 3 servers and 90 days on Pro, 6 servers and 180 days on Network. MCAnalytics counts peak concurrent players, up to 50 on Community, 100 on Starter and 250 on Network, with any number of backends and no history limit.
Does MCAnalytics cost less than McStats?
It depends on your size. Billed monthly, Starter is $4.99 a month against $6.99 for McStats Pro, and Network is $9.99 a month against $13.99 for McStats Network. The limits are different things, so match them to your own server count and peak.
Can I move my McStats history?
No. MCAnalytics has no importer for McStats data. Your charts start with the first join after you connect.
What does McStats do better?
Deeper performance data, with MSPT percentiles, garbage collection and per-world load, plus Vault economy, combat and command data, and PayNow. It documents how each metric reads on Folia. MCAnalytics is lighter on all of these as of September 2026.
